wp user reset-password
Resets the password for one or more users.
$ wp user reset-password <user>... [--skip-email]
OPTIONS
- <user>...
- one or more user logins or IDs.
- [--skip-email]
- Don't send an email notification to the affected user(s).
EXAMPLES
# Reset the password for two users and send them the change email.
$ wp user reset-password admin editor
Reset password for admin.
Reset password for editor.
Success: Passwords reset for 2 users.
GLOBAL PARAMETERS
--path=<path> Path to the WordPress files.
--url=<url> Pretend request came from given URL. In multisite, this argument is how the target site is specified.
--ssh=[<scheme>:][<user>@]<host|container>[:<port>][<path>] Perform operation against a remote server over SSH (or a container using scheme of "docker", "docker-compose", "vagrant").
--http=<http> Perform operation against a remote WordPress installation over HTTP.
